Critic's Review
From the sign in the front of the restaurant you'd think that his place was some sort of Thai fast food joint, but its really quite nice inside. The room is almost elegant, with nice wooden tables and asian art and tapestries.
If I had known I might have dined in, but I had already ordered takeout. The food was ready when I arrived. One annoyance is that there's a two way "road" in front of the restaurant thats actually part of the parking lot, but there are no end to morons who park their car in front to pick up rather than parking in the actual parking spaces (as in the main picture).
I ordered a Red Curry Chicken Lunch and Steamed Dumplings. The curry comes with white rice.
The dumplings are topped with "golden" garlic, which is basically garlic cooked until its browned but not burned. It seems to be 50-50 whether Thai dumplings include this. Frankly I could do without it. The dumplings are pretty good, although the sauce provided tasted like just soy so I ended up making my own.
The Red Curry Sauce was pretty spicy but there was too much filler. The menu description was "chicken with peppers and bamboo shoots", but there were also carrots and zucchini. There were a LOT of bamboo shoots, and not all that much chicken. Adding insult to injury, the vegetables were undercooked. Undercooked carrots and green peppers are bad. I really didn't care for their version of the dish.
