Critic's Review

Flavors of Italy has closed and there's a new owner at this corner Eatery, one of the not so great choices available at the beach. I needed an update on this area, so I grabbed a slice.

Inside, the place is less gaudy; they've replaced most of the creepy old world furniture with tables with red and white checkered tablecloths. They still have the big, oval marble table in the center of the room, which sort of looks like a pool table in a small bedroom.

$3.00 for a slice; that equates to $24 for a pie. Ridiculous.

They have a couple of table outside, if a view of the beach is your thing.

The slice would have been fine if he heated it up so that it was actually hot; but this slice was still cold. Maybe they turn their ovens off after 2pm to save energy?

This is the way a slice should look about 4 hours after you get home with your pizza.

Not terrible. $18.99 for a pizza without toppings, which means that I won't be trying one anytime soon.
