Critic's Review
After seeing yet another biased review on worstpizza.com which talked more about the owner than the food, I thought I'd give the place a try. Personally, when I'm picking up a pizza, I really don't care if the owner is a cool guy or a rat bastard; It's all about the pie.
The place was rocking on a Saturday at 5:30pm. There was a line for take out and most of the tables where occupied.
Most of the people who work here are Italian, and from what I overheard I'd say that the servers are very knowledgable about the food. Myself, I was just picking up a half sausage pizza.
It was just coming out of the oven while I was on line, and I could just tell that they knew what they were doing. They charge $1.50 for a half topping, but they give you quite a bit so that seems reasonable. The sauce is very good; good sausage. It was a pretty good pizza. The crust wasn't well formed and wasn't particularly edible. Not a perfect pie, but as good as you'll get here in South Florida.
Dominic's has a massive menu; from the crowd it's clear that this place isn't just a pizzeria. It's a full fledged italian restaurant. A real find in bageltown, USA.
