Critic's Review
Carrabba's is one of my favorite chain operations; it's not great food but they have good wine by the glass at fair prices. They also sell the wine as "quartinos", which they measure out at a glass and a half.
Carrabba's are all very similar; they have spacious bar areas with TVs and friendly staff. They also will bring you a "half loaf" of bread; warm and freshly baked, and provide you with an olive oil spice dip. I find it to be a nice place to unwind with some wine and bread.
This location is "waterfront" on some sort of pond, but because of one of Boca's silly ordinances they don't have any tables out on the deck with the waterview. Something about no tables facing a main road. I guess people dining are quite an eyesore or something. It's a bit hard to find also. The shopping center it's in seems deserted in the evening and you can't really see the restaurant from the parking lot.
I'm not a huge fan of the food; its chain Italian food, although I've had some decent dishes at Carrabba's. When I'm eating I usually go for the grilled chicken with 2 vegetable sides.
Servicewise, Mike is a seasoned veteran but he's paired with one of the slowest moving people I've ever seen. I won't mention her name, but step it up a bit babe.
