Cafe Bluefish Closed

The longtime favorite sports bar/restaurant Cafe Bluefish closed it's doors yesterday, citing a dispute with the landlord as the reason for closing. Their claim as the best seafood restaurant in Fort Lauderdale was greatly exaggerated, but it was a friendly place run by nice people.

There aren't many restaurants in this area where you can get a full menu. It's unfortunate when long time neighborhood restaurants have to close for reasons other than their being a bad restaurant.

My son was a bar back in the 90's. I loved going there to hang during the winters. My sons name was Mike. Everyone that worked were so friendly. I remember all the motorcycles that used to park out front.

good memories and fun times will always be remembered and the bluefish :) carry on!!!

I think that the landlord should reconsider not renewing their lease. It's absolute BS.
