The AMG restaurant group is what happens when people with a lot of money and no idea how to run restaurants open restaurants. They opened the short-lived Atlantic Ocean Club at this location along with the Buddha Sky Bar, only to close AOC after only a few months. Then they hooked up with Glen Manfra, who ran a Pop Up restaurant last summer and then headlined at Spoonfed last fall. But Manfra left after only a few months, leaving Spoonfed with no identity.
Buddha Sky Bar is still open, but who knows how long? It's a cool place to go once, but personally I found their policies irritating if you just want a drink and to check out the view. I predict they're gone in short order.
