Pure Platinum keeps bouncing around; it was purchased by the owner of Cheetah in 2008 and was re-acquired by original owner Michael J Peter recently. I don't really care who owns it; I care about the babes and the prices.

This place opens at 4pm and the have a daily Happy Hour from 4pm to 8pm. They start charging admission at 7pm. On a Tuesday it was $5 and I think its $10 on weekends. They charge $3 for parking on weekends also; during the week you can park in a lot nearby and walk over, or even at Publix across the street, unless you plan on staying for a long time.

There are 2 for 1 drinks at happy hour, but I didn't see much else. No food, at least not after 7pm. The club is a big open room with a red theme. The bar is in the back and the stage is in the front. You can't really see the dancers on stage too easily; this can be a good thing.

This is one of those places where the bartenders and waitresses are much better looking than the dancers, at least that was the case on this particular day. There were a bunch of guys sitting at the bar and few girls around. The bartenders and waitresses wear underwear (corsets, garter belts and stockings). The problem is that the "dancers" are either out of shape or over 40. You know the type; the one's who describe themselves as "curvy" instead of going to a gym and cutting out the biscuits. None of the girls were hustling. I don't really get when they were there. They weren't talking to guys who were coming in. It's as if they were all just hanging around waiting for their turn on the stage.

I had 2 beers and the only thing that interested me was the bartender's butt when she bent over to get a beer. I'll have to revisit on a weekend, but as far as happy hour during the week, this place appears to be a waste of time.
