Critic's Review
Villagio is located in upscale Merrick Park mall. You could spend your entire life trying to find a map to find the restaurant, so pay attention. They're on the ground floor near the interesection of Aurora and San Lorenzo. Park on Aurora street, walk up to Lorenzo and make a left. The restaurant is located in the archway just as you get to the central courtyard.
Villago is a dark place. There's a big square bar at the front. You can come here for a drink or eat at the bar. They have big flat screen TVs where you can watch the game. In good weather you can sit outside. The location is perfect for dining on a perfect evening.
The menu created by restaurateur Tim Billante has all of the red Italian favorites; plus some extras like an excellent Rissoto and veal chop. This is real Italian food; don't get a pizza here. The prices might seem high; but this is not Carrabba's. This stuff is pretty good.
