Critic's Review
Satoro is an upscale lounge/eaterie that seems out of place in the southwest corner of Hollywood Blvd. The orange umbrellas on the sidewalk provide a lovely view of the railroad and the rickety buildings across the way.
Inside, Satoro is a modern, romantic space with white leather stools and chairs, candles and nice couches. Its sort of a lounge the serves food; but I think of it more like a tapas wine bar. The fact that you can get a big prime rib seems secondary.
Satoro is more of a place for a date than it is a night out with the guys or with the family, even though they do have a kids menu. Its a much nicer atmosphere than most other places in this part of town; at a higher price point.
