Came here because I mistook it for the Sushi Rock Cafe in Ft. Lauderdale.

Spectacularly good Thai-fusion sushi. The guy behind the counter has a really deft touch with melding his Thai palate with Japanese (and other Asian) ingredients. Absolutely loved everything we had, from the Sweet Potatoes (done "Katsu style" i.e. like tonkatsu) to the Spicy Tuna Salad. Their conch and squid are fan-freaking-tastic. No idea how their traditional stuff is, and we skipped all the cream cheese rolls.

Highly recommended.Sadness. Tonight was my third at Sushi Rock and I'm sad to say I won't be going back. This is associated with Sushi Rock Ft. Lauderdale and the owner and his wife are awesome. It is really tight inside and is more of a "grab-a-bite" kinda ambiance then anything else.

The sushi was really quite excellent the first couple times but not today. Warm, kinda gritty, sloppy... need I say more? Once you go meh, you just can't go back.

Shame.Great place for a quick Bento box style lunch. No ambiance.
I prefer Sushi Thai down the street.I do not know if this restaurant is related to the Sushi Rock in Fort Lauderdale, but the food is every bit as good. The service is quick and food is excellent. The rolls I had were massive as were the individual pieces of sushi...some of the best and biggest I have ever had anywhere.

As one other reviewer stated, the ambiance is not the greatest. You do feel like you are eating at a strip mall (which is where you actually are). However, there does appear to be a local crowd that hangs out at the sushi bar and the people were very friendly.

If you are looking for sushi in Boca Raton I would strongly recommending Sushi Rock as a very good alternative to the better known sushi places in town.
