Critic's Review
Burger joints are popping up everywhere as restaurants have figured out that people will pay $12 for a burger because it's still cheaper than a $28 piece of fish. I'm not sure what the concept is here; they say that everything is fresh, but I sort of expect restaurants to use fresh food. It's cheap enough, so I grabbed a burger when I was in the area.
This place is very small with a classic fast food decor; apparently an attempt to copy In-N-Out burger (I've never been to one so I can't say). One thing is for certain; It's not the kind of place you take your family for a special occasion.
I don't know what the Hi Cheeseburger is, but it costs more so I ordered a regular cheeseburger with the works, pickles on the side. They cook them up to order; it took about 5 minutes.
This, my friends, is your typical fast food burger. Skinny burger patty, raw onion. Better than Gimme a Burger; not as good as Five Guys. The pickles were the kind that come out of a massive jar; the burger was fine but I don't see anything special about it. It's probably one of the cheapest food items on the Delray Strip, but they're not going to be taking any business away from Docs or Johnnie Brown's.
