Imagine if an Italian restaurant with prices higher than restaurants with world-renowned chefs in NYC paying 5x the rent opened in "The Hive", an armpit area frequented by tattooed bohemians and other wildlife. Imagine Heritage.
Prices are up $2-$3 since the pandemic began, because as long as fools pay, prices will rise. Take an Uber if you like your car.

Pictures look good, but $23 for a small lunch pizza is crazy.

The idea of rolling into town and declaring yourself the best restaurant north of Miami that doesn't sit well with me. We've seen a million of these places come and go How about convincing us first? People want the spoils without paying the dues.

These new places have to prove their worth but that will come though them either failing or making it in town. But have you been there? Is it good or not? Shouldn't you try it before passing judgement?

My point is that the pricing keeps people from trying it to find out how good it is. I don't have to spend $50 before I can criticize a concept or a menu or pricing. It doesn't matter how good it is because a 12" pizza isn't worth $23 no matter how good it is.
