Cruzan Rum Bar

Its difficult to do reviews when you're out of town, so why not fill people in on Airport boozing? After all, after a couple of drinks on the plane the first thing you'll want to do is do a shot at the airport, right?

Cruzan is smack dab in the middle of the Concourse B; Its a goofy looking bar with a big sail and landscaping lights, but they have a full bar and they open at 9am. So get your Bloody Marys before hopping on board. I'm not sure what makes it a "rum bar" as its just a regular bar, but I guess they can call it whatever they want.

A 20oz light beer is $7 and there were some surprised looks when customers were told the prices. They've recently put a bunch of TVs on the wall that show a variety of different stations simultaneously. Its not clear what the value of having 9 TVs is if you have them all tuned to the same 2 stations. Are they planning on having the Sunday Ticket here? Who knows.

Whoever purchased these made a serious mistake. They're all plasmas, which are designed to be viewed in dark rooms; not areas of high ambiant light such as the airport. Plasma TVs reflect light like mirrors, so the viewing experience is a bit challanging. Government bungles it once again.
