Critic's Review

This scary place is closed.

*****

I heard about this place by accident; how could there be a diner-type place in this town that I'd never heard of before. I drove by it on Saturday on my way to Dania, and it looks like a decent sized place.

I walked in at 11am to a completely empty place; there was one crusty old guy in the front. it doesn't really look like a restaurant; there are 3 porta-booths and a couple of tables, and a big counter with nothing in front of it up front. All of the tables were completely empty, without set ups, salt or pepper, or anything else.. There were 2 workers behind the counter; neither looked at me as I stood in the middle of the "dining room". I asked in a rather loud voice if they were still serving breakfast. Nobody even turned their head. One of the guys walked over in my direction. I asked him point blank "Are you still serving breakfast". He made a face, turned and walked away. It was totally bizarre.

An older guy, who was stirring something by the counter, never looked in my direction. There was no way I was eating food cooked by these people; so I walked out, never to return to this part of town

They posted some pictures on Yelp of burned eggs and a bad-looking sandwich with raw onions. I should have known better.
