Critic's Review
Nonna's has closed and Una Pizzeria has opened in it's place. I was driving by after having lunch elsewhere and I was just going to stop in to grab a menu, but I decided to get a slice. It costs more in gas to get back up there than the slice costs. I'd never been to Nonna's, and I didn't realize that the place is just a small pizzeria storefront.
I asked for 1 slice and waited; they have regular and pepperoli by the slice. House music plays on the speakers. Waiting was painful. The counter dude was consumed with a phone call and I was afraid that he'd forget about the slice in the oven. Finally it came out.
A picture paints 1000 words, I don't even need to tell you about this; you can see for yourself. It wasn't terrible tasting, but the burned edges, black on the bottom (which usually means an oven that hasn't been cleaned properly) and the distribution of cheese tells me that I saved myself $15 on getting a full sized pie here.
