Critic's Review
The Frog and Toad Pub is closed.
There aren't a lot of places in Fort Lauderdale where you can get authentic British fare, so going a bit off the beaten path to go to The Frog and Toad Pub is worth it when you're in the mood. The place is in an industrial area and the neighborhood isn't too friendly, but once you're inside you'll be transformed back in time, or at least to the last British Pub you visited.
Everything about the place is British, from the people working here to just about all of the patrons. I think I was the only one without an accent (of course they thought that I was the only one with an accent). The menu is authentic as well; they even have British Curry. Even the prices are in s (but don't worry, they're really in dollars).
I had the English breakfast, 2 fried eggs, 2 big british bangers (sausage), thick cut rashers (bacon), baked beans, grilled mushrooms and a grilled tomato all heaped on a medium sized plate. Its bloody good, and I have a feeling everything else is as well.
The service is friendy, although I wasn't asked if everything was ok nor was I offered a refill on my iced tea.
