Description
Among the cheap hotels in rickety Hollywood Beach sprouts an elegant "Italian" steakhouse, from Fulvio Sardelli. Sardelli is the Tim Petrillo of Hollywood; he now runs Fulvio's, The Tipsy Boar and Sardelli. This is a curious venture as Hollywood Beach is what I would describe as "low end". Hotels are generally less expensive and the real estate is modest. However other high priced restaurants such as Billy's Stone Crab have been here a long time, and there isn't much else around in the way of higher end dining.
Still, Sardelli is priced higher than Las Olas, and it's hard to fathom driving down to Hollywood Beach for fine dining. The menu seems ambitious; $9-10 for sides however is not for the faint of wallet.
