O-B / House, a confusing acronym for Old Fort Lauderdale Breakfast House, will open on August 5 to the public. The restaurant marks the return of Rodney Ely to Fort Lauderdale after running the Satellite Cafe in Little Rock Arkansas for the past decade. Ely worked the old Andrews Riverside in the 80s and was a partner in "The Lodge" downtown in the early 90s.
Ely had planned to open Village Pie at this location, but mysteriously changed the format to breakfast without much notice. We hope to have some more details shortly.
