Isabellas Pizza Fort Lauderdale

Isabella's is your typical neighborhood pizzeria; it's a very modest place and they have pretty good food and fair prices. After paying over $20 for a pizza at Nick's in Boca, it's nice to be able to get an 18" pizza with a half topping for under $14 here. They have tablecloths over the tables to try to add a bit of elegance, and there's always a couple tables of people having a sit-down dinner, but it still feels like a pizzeria to me.

I'd previous gotten a couple of pizzas and the eggplant parmesan, which is pretty good take-out for $7.95

And I'd have to say that it was excellent. The eggplant particularly; it tasted like eggplant, with good sauce and enough cheese to compliment it. The linguine was "ok"; all in all a pretty good meal.

The pizza at Isabella's is "pretty good". They have a good sauce here, it's inexpensive but they tend to skimp on the ingredients.

Isabella's Pizza

The sausage application is a bit weird, but it was good sausage. The crust was a bit stiff, and the cheese was a very thin layer. They do have good sauce so the pizza was pretty good. Not bad for neighborhood pizza, but not the best in town either.

This place has closed permanently. The new owners had no clue; the shutdown just accelerated the inevitable.

This is an outdated look at Isabella’s.

Indeed it is. The new owners seem more interested in selling seafood than pizza, so they're not on my radar.

Note that Isabella's is under new ownership; a first time business owner from Hallandale took over the place last week.
